How to Get Clear Skin in 7 Days

Need to kick your skincare game into high gear to clean up those stubborn blemishes ASAP? We have plenty of tips, tricks, and recommendations to clear up your skin fast. The first step is not to panic, because the stress of breaking out is probably making things worse. The reason you’re breaking out is probably something simple like unwashed makeup brushes or a dirty pillowcase. We’re going to tell you the easiest steps to clear your skin up in only 7 days.

1. ALWAYS wash your face before bed.

No matter how many vodka sodas you had at the bar, ALWAYS come back home and wash your face. Leaving dirt, makeup, and oils on your face overnight is the perfect equation for a breakout. 2. Clean your phone

Think of all the bacteria that are living on your phone! If you’re breaking out on your cheeks or anywhere near that area, it is probably because your phone is transferring bacteria onto your face. 3. Change your pillowcase

This is one of Aisling’s most recommended hacks to clearing up your skin! Your pillowcase holds an insane amount of bacteria from your face, hands, hair products, and detergent. First, we recommend you use a gentle and clean detergent to ensure no harsh chemicals are transferring onto your face. Also, you should be washing your pillowcase at least once a week. You do not want to sleep on an excessive amount of bacteria every night. 

 

4. What hair products are you using?

If you’re someone who has sensitive skin, uses clean products, and is still breaking out, what are you using for your haircare? Spray hair products like hairspray and leave-in conditioners can still transfer onto your face. We recommend doing your hair first before your makeup. When you’re done, use the Shamanuti seaweed toner to take off any excess hair products or oils before doing your makeup.

 

5. Wash your makeup brushes 

Dirty makeup brushes can be a major reason why you’re breaking out. It is essential to clean your brushes at least once per week to ensure you’re not only blending your foundation out, but also spreading bacteria on your face, too. 6. Drink more water

Drinking water can help you combat a variety of skin issues including psoriasis and eczema. Drinking water helps your digestive system flush out toxins in the body. 8. Exfoliate
